SANTA FE

I always wanted to visit Santa Fe. Something about “The City Different” (a nickname they gave themself) has always intrigued me. I’m not sure if it is all of the art galleries, museums, and historic sites that are always waiting to be explored or the landscape that is so becoming. Really I think it is all so appealing. When given the opportunity to visit this city I was thrilled beyond measure and had so much fun exploring all they have to offer.

One thing I was not expecting but truly was grateful for was their amazing food scene. One of the most important things for me while traveling is really good food. I want the food experience to be just as adventurous as everything else I am taking in. Let me tell you, the way that they create and use their ingredients makes for an art form all on its own. With more than 250 restaurants you could make your trip all about the food, and nothing else, but if you did you would be missing out on so much creativity and history elsewhere. So, why not go and take it all in!

One amazing fact about the place is that it is the oldest capital city in the country. So, from a historic perspective there is so much richness and uniqueness to dive into. Walking through the old churches and remarkable buildings will leave one curious to find out more of this city’s roots.

People have been drawn to the culture, the architecture, and the beautiful landscape for hundreds of years…and after 6 days of visiting and exploring, I can see why.
