When I need to escape I head to Highlands, North Carolina. This mountain town is my happy place.I come here to unwind and take in all the natural beauty that surrounds it. With the rise and fall of each season there is something to discover around each corner. The quaint little town also has yummy food and darling shops to keep one occupied on days when you break from outdoor adventures.
